You are the pilot of the HDS Venturer, a state-of-the-art submarine, tasked with exploring this alien underwater world. Your mission: to harvest Hydrium, a rare and powerful resource that glows with the potential to revolutionize energy on the surface.

But the deeper realms of the ocean are guarded by creatures as mysterious as they are lethal, evolved to thrive where sunlight dares not reach. Customize your submarine with weaponry, engines, and scoops to delve further into the abyss, outsmart predators, and claim the riches that lie below.

Each dive tests your courage, cunning, and craftsmanship. Will you rise with treasures untold, or will you succumb to the dangers of the deep? The abyss calls, diver—venture forth and let the depths reveal their secrets.

I enjoyed the game a lot.  Catchy music, a good amount of flexibility in the build, and challenging! Minor details make the game great.  The depth meter changing the color of the screen the deeper you go was a nice touch.  The preview of your ship at the level select.  The particles getting sucked in by the collectors.  But really, just how fast things can go bad in the depths of the ocean!  My ship used the front as a shield to protect the rest lol.

Thanks for this.  Looking forward to attempting the next one!

Thank you so much! And WOW! What a big ship! That must have taken a while considering the hull price goes up very quickly! What a creative design. Thank you so much for sharing and thank you a ton for playing!

Awesome little game! It reminds of me of my younger days playing those those little flash games like on Miniclip. Music is good, shipbuilding is great, and I love the art in this.

It took a while but I made a pretty big ship (which promptly got wrecked as I tried to brave the maximum depth lol). Here she is, Under the C

Thanks! Love the commitment to the bit haha

Very addictive gameplay with style harkening back to the days of yore when all I had was a Windows 3.1 486 CPU and 8 MB of RAM.

Love:

- Automatic fire can be done by holding mouse button.

- Music is cheerful and catchy.

- Artwork is animated in a simple but memorable way with easily distinguishable assets.

Pleased to see:

- The grid system and dynamic shadow effect applied in the ship building menu is fantastic. It is easily my personal favorite location in the game, tinkering around with different configurations to maximize profit like a Ferengi.

- Depth selection screen has a dynamic background depending on chosen setting.

- There are extremely clear, screen specific textual instructions throughout the game, which makes it easy to understand. Far too many developers would have left this necessary feature out.

- Autosave feature if using "exit" button on main screen is a very nice touch, especially to show off with friends, or pick it back up later.

Considerations and future additions:

- Difficult to hear in-game music over turret fire.

- If game is developed further, would enjoy seeing a future title reward system for meeting certain milestones, along with colored pop-ups and enhanced ship parts for purchase.

Conclusion:

Fun game! Reminds me of Starbound if it were simpler and underwater. Would love to see this game developed further with additional features. It would probably do very well on mobile too. Great job!

Thank you so much for your feedback! I'm so glad you enjoyed it and we will definitely take your considerations into... consideration haha.

4/5
Pros: You get to explore marine biology, make a ship how you want, and shoot dangerous creatures
Cons:
-I never saw a Kraken. Even at the 10,000 feet level. I demand a Kraken.

Haha good point! Maybe in a future update...

I enjoyed playing the game! I have a new fear of anglerfish.  Like others mentioned, some balancing with how the sub is upgraded can definitely make it better.  With some more time you have something that can do really well!

I like the idea of building your ship, but the propeller seems to increase the difficulty of the game, maybe just increase the collecting resources time. At some point, I could just use only one propeller and just play and collect resources more easily and increase the moving speed by the depth you selected. Another thing that can be changed (just my opinion), make the sharks come from different directions (maybe just them). Overall I liked the idea, good job!

Such a cool game idea! Loved the art and the ship building is a really neat system!

The artist here. Thank you so much for your kind words!

With a little bit of balancing ship building and mob difficulty I could see this game popping off on Mobile or better yet, Steam. Great job from all of the developers here.
